You don't have to worry, nice WB in very good condition

Here is mine for your reference, is the left WB.

For the record the other L/21 is a double mm variation.

                Thanks

                Thanks Guys

It came in with some others a fantastic textbook Silver MM100, a cased Silver L/54 (Which went on the e-stand and sold in minutes) and a great condition Imperial silver.

It will be heading for the e-stand soon.

                regards

                Mark

As long as we are on the subject of L21 wound badges, what is your take on this cast setup - raised maker mark L21 SWB?

                    Dennis,

I have seen this type and the majority of them was gold painted, personally i don't like them.
Also another type die-cast exist and is stamped L/21 this time at the center of the badge and they are modern reproductions as far i know.

The other known original solid L/21 type that is not shown here is the one with the standard '30' set up and the maker marks are within a box like the hollow issues.

                      Chris:

Thanks for your input on the L21 SWB I posted. I had not seen one with a raised maker mark such as this one and thought it might be questionable. It is currently for sale on an auction site.

My own personal L21 (within a box) SWB is the other authentic type I believe you are referring to. The maker mark appears below the catch.

Yes Dennis, this is the other type, yours has the 'short' needle pin.
