The case is a fake, and from these pictures the badge looks like it has the same fate

Indeed a fake case.
The wound badge looks a bit like a fat swaz badge, but better pictures would be nice indeed.

Well the case is fake because original silver wound badge cases have a different more smooth look to it, the details of the case are just not right.

The badge has a plump big fat swaz on it, which is a big red flag. Also I have the feeling that the finish and base material just do not look right.

The details make this set a fake.

Indeed a fake. The artificial ageing and the rust around the hinge alone is a tell tale as well
