Yours has a different configuration on the reverse then I have seen before but otherwise it looks fine.

I don't think it's a sport pin. I think it is for donating on the street for the 1942 Police Day fundraising, like the WHW. By 1942 they had their hands pretty full and were getting more than enough "sport" in Russia.

Stephen is correct. This is the WHW "Tag der Deutschen Polizei" pin for the Winter Help collection for 1942. A very common tinnie that probably is not worth the effort to make a fake...at least just yet.
