    hello,

the silver C badge that I saw is marked 2001 in the superior part and in the inferior part is marked 935. I will try to post the reverse picture of this badge.
Do you find the regulations for this award?

    cordial greetings

It is my pleasure to discuss Glider pieces => do you know the number from teh Silver C that you did see ?

All original awarded Silver C badges are numbered and with one can trace the former owner, a major thing is however that it was a difficult badge to earn between 1930 and 1942 but that it is nowadays a very commonly awarded piece.

The reason for this is that the technology has made a enourmous advance in the meantime and the hard thing is also to determin if a badge is early wartime or not !!!!!!!

I will have to go though my archive to find the exact regulations but will come back as soon as possible.

    Cordial greetings,

      Silver C badge

      Hello,

I have yet to look up for the regulations but will do it within the comming days.

I can give however a few numbers on the badges .

Silver C : 2000 badges awarded untill the end of 1943 (over the whole world)

Gold C : 47 badges awarded untill the end of 1943 (idem)

So these numbers gives already a indication of the rarity of these badges => and who does still believe that these are cheap ?

      Greetings,
