I picked up a large grouping from an older gentleman who was getting rid of his collection.
Most of the items were purchase in the late 60s early 70s , so there was a lot of repo's and fantasy pieces.
I did an on line / site search with no luck on these 2 tinnies. Pin look reattachedd , silver tinnie weight about double of gold tinnie.
Any opinions on these two pieces.

Well, it is in Tiestes book, but I wouldn't be suprised if the the heavy one is a lead copy. Try drawing a line with it.

Tinnie leave no marks, forgot about that little trick.
I did a bend test , not the slightly flex . Gold tinnie is 4 grams ,silver is 12 grams so 3 times heavier.
I got Tieste #3 book I did not find it in that one , I believe there are 3 volumes to that tinnie book.
Pete, which book do you have?

Well, that it will not not bend is a good sign, I should think.
No reason to think that they were not produced by more than one maker.
No mention in Tiestes book of two colour types, so I have no more idea.
The latest Tieste I use is the 5th. printing (2 volumes) 2006.
Time for No. 6 to be done.
