silverware?

A gentleman called me and said he had Hitler's silverware-11 pieces. I went to his house today and he has various forks, spoons, knives and one ladel. On the bottom of each piece is marked "Adolf Hitler Haus". To me, this looks like some kind of hotel silveware. Any suggestions? I have pictures, but don't how to send them. If someone wants me to e-mail them, I can or will.

You're right--they're from a hotel or youth hostel or something like that. They're probably silver plated rather than actual silver. Are there any decorations on them--swastikas, eagles, etc.?
