        German and Army Ski championship
        Berchtesgaden 7. December 1934
        SA SS Ski championship
        I've seen a number of these in the past, and never found any specific info--I suspect they were either purchased at the event or may have been given to all who took part.

          The cicle with DSV under the Swastika is the German Ski Club. These badges were for the varrious compertions held by the organisation.

            Actually this is a pretty rare pin....since this event occured before the "night of the long knives" (the overthrow of Rohm and the SA), it is one of only a very few pins that depicts the SS and the SA together....there were 2 variations...i have one showing on my sale/trade site on the front page near the bottom.
            It is even more unique in that it is enamel and showing the SS and SA together.
            I am not aware of any others.
