Help ID'ing this pin

I hope that someone can help me ID this pin and maybe put a value on it. It measures 3/4 X 3/4 inches. Thanks in advance.

Party member eagle pin from early 1930s - to be worn in tie or lapel as alternative to party pin. Sorry - no idea of current value. Pin is broken & resharpened, but nice eagle.

I agree with Stephen: this is a model M-1927 NSDAP Member's Stick Pin and, given the condition issue of the broken and resharpened pin, I would imagine that it is worth about $30--$40.

It was a compelling design from the early days of the Nazi Party.

is that a RZM mark under the pin?

Yes, after looking closer it does have the RZM marking and a number "31" beside it. What does the 31 mean?

#31 represents the RZM license for the firm of Karl Pfohl, Pforzheim.

As to the cut-down stick pin, that may have been the member's attempt at trying to make the pin easier to work with on a necktie...just a thought.

With the RZM and no "M" prefix, that dates it to early 1935.
