The short answer is yes because finding an ORIGINAL cased example is VERY rare. The last one at auction here in the US sold for 2K.

Do you mean the Hess piece in the HH auction? I have only seen one other example with the same dedication on the reverse and it was dedicated to Streicher. The dealer who had it was asking 10K years ago and it was uncased.

Nuremberg 1925 + Case

Guys,

The Winckler plaque was expensive but the last one that was sold this year at HH was €1500 and the condition wasn't as good. Both the plaque and case are in superb condition as you will see from these photos.

The cased 29 badge dedicated to Hess by Hitler sold at the HH auction for 3200 Euros. Someone got a real piece of history!
