Looks like gold-painted lead. Haven't ever seen anything like it & hope I don't again. Look at those deep casting pits by the top o'the one wing. Looks like something meant to deceive an 8-yr. old. -
On the other hand, I have a fob of similar construction ( modern non military ) that's in constant use. They do hold up well.Comment
