How do I know?

I recently purchased a Nazi silver mothers cross (silver with blue and white ribbon, very nice condition, too nice really!) and a hitler youth armband. I paid 50$ Can. for them and was wondering A- if it is a good price and B- how do I know if the are authentic. No records of documentation or anything along with them. Just purely trust on my account in a private sale. Anyone who can help?

SOunds like a good price for both I guess. You will need to take good photos and post them here so that all the forum members can give their opinions.

If both are real, thats a very good price. Both are faked though (HJ armbands more so than Mother's crosses), so like Terry suggested, the best thing would be to post photos for opinions. What you could also do is search for both items in our archives and compare to the ones you have, there are plenty of photos of these two items in our back pages.
