Party Pin RZM GG: original??

This just came in from a guy in Canada. I will sell it on e-stand if original. I have my doubts on this one. Is it good or bad?

The red beading in the NSDAP membership badge is one of the key factors. The beading in this example is typical of what to expect. Not even close to an original. The fakers can't seem to make this look like an original. The enamel lettering is indented and looks "soft" .

I know I am beating a dead horse, but in the prior threads regarding the HJ Foreigner's badge made by Aurich, which is supposedly a fake, I pointed this out. The red beading on the Aurich badges matches period orginals.

If the Aurich badge was indeed a fake, I would expect the enameling to match the enameling on the NSDAP badge posted here. I does not match.

Hello Garry, sorry to be a wet blanket, but the red beading is anything but a Key factor, and certainly not in the examples shown above. in fact the opposite, the beading, lettering and enamel all look fine on both NSDAP membership badges. The sunken enamel on the first is a worry sign, then the reverse picture shows us that it`s an Early repro. The second in much better quality, but also the reverse shows us where and when it was made, and that was not Germany pre1945
Maybe you meant the Golden PB ?
I would say, that judging by the red beading alone, it would be impossible to determine a Party pins authenticity on this, so it cant therefor be a key factor, can it? and in the case of most early badges, it cant even be considered a minor factor.
The most important part of any small enamel badge, is, and remains, the Reverse when determining authenticity.

I don't like the 2 regular party badges. I don't collect the GPB and haven't done much research on those, so I won't comment on the GPB. As for the regular party badges this is what I have come up with

1. A key tell for me is the RZM with Ges. Gesch. Markings. With real member badges, etc you will never see the RZM stamp with Ges. Gesch. it's one or the other, never both on the enamel piece. Unless the Ges. Gesch is stamped on the pin plate (reference: A Collector's Guide to the RZM Marks of the NSDAP. Page 17 item#3).

2. Another thing that sticks out is the pin plate not filling the area (the circle in the middle of the enameled portion of the badge). From what I have found with badges is that the pin plate fills that portion of the back of the badge. granted they are not the typical "Coffin" pin plate found on many fakes, the plates are still too small to be correct.

I also agree with Joseph with the party badges.
