Hello, I do not know anything about this organization, is it the RLA or RJA ? Can any one help me identify the organization and what was the function, I assume a sports group ? Many thanks to those who respond. Jack

Hi Jack - the RJA was the Reichsjugendsportabzeichen. Basically the equivalent of the DRA or DRL which was for adults (I believe the youth badge was actually awarded by the DRA or DRL organizations). Sport badge to be earned based on completing certain tasks by achieving set goals (time or distance). The first model was without swastika and the second on with. The one for girls was brooch mounted.

Thanks Guys, And David Great SA tinnies, I just wished they were also posted to the SA tinnie archive, but It is one of the greatest SA tinnie collections I have ever seen. I have between 30 and 40 myslef. I have really enjoyed looking at yours. Jack

Thankyou for your kind words of support in connection with the SA's. I will keep posting them and incidentally, I show them individually in order to clearly isolate them for potential discussion. There is always the possibly of the badge not being noticed if automatically included within the pinned SA data base. When time permits however, I will include all past and hopefully future SA badges within the SA data base.
