I am thinking they are genuine, but very possibly cleaned.
The reverses just look too minty, and there seems to be spots of patina remaining that were not scrubbed off.

Good remark. I've the same thoughts. Original but cleaned.
But the "L" numbering is much more rare as the A, C, D and E.
