have seen the volksgruppe badge a few times but never the dj -- nice badge i supose all the Croatian Germans fled or were kicked out during and post war , maybe thats why Ring though from Croatia is unfamiliar with these badges

The quote from the book says that there where 15000 DJ members in Croatia. If you ask me that makes that badge fairly rare. Considering not all members had pins and taking in loss and destruction after the war, I would say its rare. Just my thoughts. Nice pin. Tim
