Eagle tinnie? Novice query

Hi,

Any help with this badge/tinnie please. Nice eagle badge, pressed see pics for hollow back. Originally looks like it had three pins, but one missing. Has a maker mark "G.B 41" raised mark on reverse.
has been polished many times in its life, looks bronze/brass.

Any help with the ID of what this is, looks quite general but as a novice battling with ID.

From the description and maker mark, its a tropical helmet eagle (It should be a silver eagle on a shield shaped black background)

Hi gents,

Trying again to attach link to picture. Yes looks very much like a pith badge, but mine has no black paint, either polished off or unpainted? This badge has been heavily polished by other owners.
