Is that traces of lead solder on the back? Do you have a better shot of both sides,f & B and an angled shot under the buttonhole attachment?Comment

They both look fine, although a better shot of the front of the Fuess would help. Do doubt the Deschler is good.
The buttonholer wasn't generally available on the Fuess as a factory item, but could easily have been owner-added later. Deschler did offer a factory-added buttonhole tab back on their small badges.Comment

Looks like a nice set. I've seen a lot of the 24mm badges with all kinds of pin configurations such as button holes and some with chains to keep them from getting lost which seems to have been a real problem with these badges. Most of the ones I have seen were done very nicely possibly by a jeweler.Comment

The traces look like solder to me. Not patina. So it could be done by the owner himself or a handy Harry in the family. Very interesting original set.
