That is a very strange pin. I have never seen a fake lapel, (button hole) type.
So far they seem to be too expensive to fake when it's easier just to put a pin on it. I cannot verify one way or the other but mabey someone else can.
If not, show us a picture from the side of the fastening device. John

my guess is that.. if its not maker marked (or rzm'd) i would say it falls more into the category of a "good lucK" swastika (nothing to do with the nazi party)

I believe it may be for the Danish Nazi Party.

hook reminds me of a pab hook, maker is payne and baker

Payne and Baker was out of Attleboro Mass.from 1901 to approx 1958 or 1960. Can you imagine someone wearing this pin about?? If you tried to sell it on evil bay, they would pull it in a heartbeat...even though it aint nazi. what period this was i am unsure, but feel maybe 20 or possibly 30's but wouldnt think it would have been from the 40's on. This enameled pin regardless is well made, and just because we dont know for sure, it could be nazi, unlike this pin i showed.

Stephen is correct, it is a Danish Party pin (DNSAP, Danmarks National Socialistiske Arbejder Parti).

NW is there a maker mark on the reverse?

Terry, your badge is for members of the party who were living outside of Denmark (generally in Germany, & mainly in Hamburg where there was a large population of Danish migrant workers).

                            Cheers
                            Don
