    "Saar" Tinnie Help

    Fellow Forum members,

    I just bought this tinnie at a local store, and it was being sold as 100% good. I know what the inscription means, and am somewhat familiar with the whole Sarr thing. I would like some of your input on the authenticity. Thanks! Link below

    Hello Zack, your Abzeichen (tinnie) is 100% genuine. Authentic period examples are die struck and of Tin construction with a Copper anodised finish. Although still a relatively common tinnie to find, your Badge is period.

      Landzack2013,

      The Saar tinney looks fine....

      You didn't ask, however....as to the other stuff pictured in your link.
      The NSKK Sleeve diamond is a fake; the censored letter is real but the "Oberkommand der Wehrmacht" stamp has been added to jazz it up;
      The LW gull is ok; the Swastika Armband with the SS markings & SS/RZM tag is also a fake. Hopefully you were aware of all this....

      I'd spend alittle more time checking the various available forums before spending much money on stuff....learn not to burn....as they say!
