Found this cased NSFK award today in an auction offer. Don´t know anything about such awards and it´s value.
Perhaps there is a collector in this forum who knows something about such very nice looking awards. Any opinions on its worth?

Hi Gerd, nice looking non-portable award.. These awards were for flying competitons in the, pre 'Luftwaffe', NSFK and came in various shapes and sizes. They were issued for such things as, and from, model making up to cross country races..

Value, I've seen them go from as little as €50 to €200.. I think it all depends on the level of award (as these were Issued to both winners and participants) and type of competition.. This I think Is for some sort of Pilot skill competition, and not for one of the sought after National races...

Hi!

Many thanks for your reply. Never saw one like this (Kunstflugmeisterschaften)Had made some investigations on NCO Berthel in the last days.
This award comes from Ltn. Berthel, day fighter pilot in the JG52 (6 kills, shot down 1940 in UK, POW), former flight trainer in the early WH-Luftwaffe. This award was sold for 650.- Euro (too much !) to another customer.
