    NSKK tinnie

    Hello,

Need some help on identifying this NSKK tinnie. What was it given out for and is this an original one?

    Any inputs would be appreciated.

    Regards,
    Tony

Hello Tony, without a doubt your Tinnie is 100% genuine, your tinnie screams it from the rooftops that it is a period example, the quality of the die stamping is one such indication of the tinnies authenticity, the reverse is a perfect mirror image of the obverse. also notice the wear to the high points on the obverse (yes wear can be faked, but on this badge it is period wear) The circular triangular form the Badge adopts, was in fact very similar to designs used on several occassions by the NSKK. In fact the prior year 1934 a very similar design was issued to commemorate a car competition and race between the NSKKand the DDAC. Tony the Badge was issued to commemorate one of the NSKK's sports meetings which was held in Thuringen in 1935.

        Hi Martin,

Thanks so much for your detailed identification of the NSKK tinnie. This one came with some other NSKK items recently, but wanted another opinion on it.
        Appreciate the help Martin

        Regards,
        Tony
