I have a question about the Schirmmütze of the Hitlerjugend.<O

Why is the band of the Schirmmütze sometimes dark and other times brown (the colour of the cap). I’ve read somewhere that brown is for the Gefolgschaftsführer/Oberstammführer and black for Bannführer/Hauptbannführer. But I saw a picture of an Oberscharführer with a brown band and a picture of a Hauptgefolgschaftsführer with a dark band.<O</O
Very confusing. Can somebody help me?<O</O
