Cossack Vet Pin

I was thinking about buying this Postwar Cossack Vet Pin. I am told that this is Post War but I am not sure. Does anyone have any comments about it? I am trying to decide if I should go for it or not.

Looks like a legit postwar vet pin......worn by German vets of the unit rather than Russians.......probably worth about $50.
