    Winter Plaque

    Hi guys,

    Mods, I don't know if this in the correct section, if it's not please move it

    Can anyone shed any light on this metal plaque, also can anyone translate the inscription.

      A similar contribution, albeit a pin, nonetheless another 1939 soldier-in-the field Christmas-related contribution. This rather attractive pin is clearly a private-purchase item celebrating "1939 Soldaten-Weihnacht". It is maker-marked "Huguenin" on the obverse (a Swiss manufacturer).
