HJ Diamond Pins

This might be a silly question but I need to know. Are there good versions of these with solid red instead of the "fish scale" look? I've been told that the solid red is a bad sign but I've also been told that, while most were made with the scaled look, there are originals with solid red. Can anybody help?

Mike does it look like the one Perry Floyd posted yesterday under HJ Pins if so and marked the sameway with same style attach plate then I would say not good.

Hi James. No, it doesn't look as bad as that. It looks like a good badge all around. It has everything that a good HJ badge should have. It's just that the red is solid instead of the typical fish scale or dot pattern.

Their are partypins with apaque red enamel, so I pressume their are also HJ-pins like this as showed by hcliffe.
