    Silver Rider Badge

    Hello All,
I have this on a seven-day approval and wonder if it is pre-war. There is no R on the bottom of the wreath. It is very heavy compared to my bronze, weighing nearly 25 grams. The back says GES.GESCH. ZENTRALKOM F. LEISTUNGSPR. W.U. KARLTBL. - PF and STEINHAUER & LUCK - LUDENSCHEID. The silver is very heavy and seems to tarnish grey instead of black.

As always, grateful for your opinions,

        Hi,
To my inexperianced eye it looks like it has come from somewhere in eastern Europe. Probably made in someones cellar, last year. Totally lacking in detail, pin and hinge look , I hope after all this i'm not wrong
I would definately send it back.

        Darren.

I do not like either . Looks like it's a lead cast, maybe explaining why it is heavy too.

It is the new form. It dose not have the "R".
