NSKOV - 25 year badge?

Hi everyone

I have come across what looks like a NSKOV 25 year badge. I have seen quite a few strickpins that are similar but not one of this type on the forum after a quick search.

One question I have is the small hole at the base. Would this have been used for something i.e placing ribbon in? If not, I presume it was just added later

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

its DRKB = Deutscher Reichskriegerbund Kyffhaeuser, but it is not the standard 25 year membership badge...not sure what this one would have been issued for specifically, but the hole looks like it should be there and is likely to have been for another little hanger, maybe a meeting name/place/date?
