ID shield badge - Reich Finance

Hi

I came across this on a flea market recently and picked it up for a few pounds.

I am not sure if it is geuine and thought I would pop it on the forum to see if anybody has any opinions. Indeed, I am not sure which category of the forum something like this fits in.

I have not seen one before and in my opinion if it was a reproduction then you would see them about a lot more about.

I have couple more photos of it, should it clear the first fence and not be found to be a poor fake.

It's a new one on me. Going by the very poor definition on the back I'd say it's a fake. Let's see if anyone else knows more about these.

33023 number is the most common copied badge.

Thanks for the responses and the link. I have checked the website mentioned and it is most definitely a duffer. Many thanks for taking a look. Much appreciated. Thankfully it only cost a few pounds so I will add it to my collection of reproductions pieces. Soon there will be enough to make a small display!!!

Sadly, I too am the owner of a copy of Zollgrenzschutz badge #33023 which I had heretofore thought was original. Why is it I am getting a whole lot older without becoming a whole lot wiser (sigh).
