Hi need info on this one, not my area of collecting. First of all, is it real or is it a fake? what is the value on this one, if it´s real?
Thanks for your time and help, Regarsd Lassi

Nothing wrong with that one, a little tired maybe, but definitely original.

    Cheers

          Real

This is a bit of a late reply, and I too agree with Don that this is a real SS FM pin. I've collected them for abour 18 years. If you want to sell it, message me, and I will buy it.

            Addn'l info

If you run a search you will find several other postings that will give you some additional information regarding this type of pin. The alpha charatcer which is at the reverse top isd one of several. Currently I have A, C, D, E, H, J, K, L and S which is the only one I have seen so far for the ehrennadel. The A series is the most common. Let me know if you want to sell it.

Did these come in any other pin form? Like a regular tinnie pin, not a stick pin?

                    Pin Back

Don is of course correct. The pin back are, as expected, nowhere near as common as the stick pin. They are also probably the more problematic when it comes to the fakes. Both the pin back and the stick pin have been faked, some pretty badly, and some not too badly. You'll also see the cuff links and ones with a triangluar pin stuck on the back that are proported to be used in button holes. That's bunk. And any marked with an RZM are also fantasy. Most often you'll see the rzm slapped on the back of an "ehrennadel" or honor pin, and you can be bet that's bad.
