    off the cuff i would say ok Don...the only problem i have with these is they seem to be heavily copied....i guess its one of those hold in your hand type things and make the call.....i have never had one myself that was undisputably real imo to copmpare with.......sorry for the lack of assistance

      From what I've managed to discover today from Houston Coates, is that these are fantasy items that first appeared around 6 years ago.

            I'm not familiar with that particular maker. From a distance (on your original shot) the text looked odd. Nice looking badge even though it may be a fantasy

              Yes, I think one on it's own is quite convinsing, but having two in hand to examine, doubts grew in my mind.

              The gold on them were different to each other & from my experiances with other badges, one thing that is constant is that the colour of the gold is always the same between badges of the same design.
