How much is the value affected by not having the ribbon? Any idea what this medal is worth?

Does it appear that the number 4 is over struck on another number?

I don't know if it is the dark photos and lack of detail or what, but there are some differences in the number and placement of the sunrays on the reverse of this one compared to my 2169 (Dobek) award. Especially under the R and under the word HABT. On the obverse, does the V of NOV. have a portion of a serif at the bottom on the left side?

It does appear the 4 has been struck twice or overstruck.

There is no serif on the bottom of the letter "V".

In the second photo above, are there rays between those visible under the R and under the word Habt. In your photo, I can count eight rays. Perhaps the image coming through on my monitor does not do the photo justice and I cannot see any more. On my medal, I can count eleven rays ending under the area from the R to the T in HABT.

The bottom of the V in NOV. is definitely flatened and has portions of a serif.

Do you have some printed references with examples in which you can see these areas on other medals? I do not have the ability to post on this forum.

Do you have a jewelers scale to weigh the medal for a comparison of weight?

This Blood Order has been discussed a couple of times already on the forum.

Here is a link to the most recent time, which in turn contains a link to an earlier discussion.
