Heres a side view. I guess it could possibly be a feather. I've always thought of it as a leaf but it could be either one. Exactly what it was used for is anybodys guess. Lots of possibilities. I always look closely at all pictures of Berchtesgaden that I come across but have not yet seen anything like this. This was possibly used in a less public place in one of the big wigs private residence, being brass possibly a fancy bathroom? Mike
