1930's SA/Political Jewelry box.
Notice the SA men are wearing alternating winter and summer uniforms.
The design that encompasses the entire box looks like a zig-zag design.....but it's rows of troopers all saying "Seig Heil!"
The "hearts" on the lid are not part of the original design.
Likely painted on by the owner....
I've seen this one in the past (or one just like it) and always thought the design was very well done--not in the least looking like a homemade piece. IMO it's definitely the work of a professional designer.

Thank you!
And thanks to Squidney who posted the photos for me!
That red tab is Gruppen Staff....for a very short time their piping was silver/red before changing to white/red sometime in 1933.
The green Standartenfuhrer tabs with the oakleaf are rectangular rather than the normal parrallelogram shape and they're velvet.
Box says "D.R.G.M." on the bottom of each side.
Penciled on underside of lid is barely recognizable name..
"Florian Racz".....a Hungarian name with Serb roots.
There was also more writing but some clown sanded it off.
Someone also tried to scrape off the "hearts" that were hand-painted......luckily they gave up before ruining the whole thing.
Such a unique and complicated design......makes you wonder
just how they stenciled it.
Box was falling apart but now all fixed!
"Deutschland Erwacht!"...........
That's the Nazi's version of the obnoxious liberal slogan "Woke!"
Ha..ha..!
