Opinions on SA Collar cut from tunic, Berlin Brandenburg Group

Just picked this up from the estate of a WW2 veteran, long time member of the military. In a past life I would have hung onto it but spent quite a bit and just want to get it checked out. I have owned a number of loose collar tabs before but never an SA tunic so just want to make sure things check out. Thanks!

Upon closer look it appears the collar is a removable one and not cut. The braid was a little frayed and mistook it for being cut. Possibly NSKK?

Definitely NSKK insignia. The brown shirts were the same for the SA, NSKK, and SS--only the buttons and insignia were different.
          Looks fine to me.

Not very often you find them like this. Looks like a good, original piece to me.

I agree that this would be NSKK, but I don't care for the fit of the tabs onto the collar points, nor have I ever seen a Traditions Brown Shirt with a removable collar. That said, perhaps others here have broader experience of this than I do.

If you fold it flat the tabs are a better fit than it looks in the picture. It has been stored in a small frame for who knows how long and hanging on his office wall, the collar has been folded under a little bit. Here is stored with an Australian armband. He had lots of odds and ends put together.

Normally I don't ask but the wife was pretty incredulous I spent as I did. She wanted to throw me out when I walked in the door but she gave me 72 hours to make it right Does anyone have an opinion what a reasonable price might be to ask for it?

Close ups of the tabs and collar.

                      Tabs

The tabs are original, but as mentioned, I've never seen tabs on a removable collar. The removable collar was intended to be worn with the under-tunic shirt, as the tunic already has collar tabs. You'd have to believe that he was walking around with such a shirt instead of a brownshirt. Anything is possible, but it's also possible it's a fabrication with original parts. The black piping suggests it may be original, IMO....but hard to know for sure.
