Im not an advanced Hj collector, but I like the history and the items of the Hj so I have picked up a few pieces lately and want to show a few pictures of my small collection.

Two of the tell-tale marks that identify these as fakes are:
1) the point of the HJ Diamond juts down well below the edge of the cog wheel (on originals this is not the case)
2) the lower of the 2 dots at the top center of the wreath touches the border of the wreath (on originals there is a discernible space between the lower dot and the border)
If you look at the photos in the link, these two differences are clearly shown.
I should add, this was all news to me and I would have been fooled if I had not recently stumbled onto the information in the link.
