German party armband fake ?

The disc has an odd shape and the wear marks look as if they were purposely put there by a piece of sandpaper. Doesn't look good IMO.

From the photo wear marks look a bit unnatural to me, otherwise construction details and quality are convincing.

It's a good one. Who knows what happened to it. Time can do some strange stuff to items. Maybe kids playing in the 1950's and ran through thorn patch while playing war. Anything is possible.
