Sturm 1/M 151????

Ok guys I have scoured the internet for a couple of hours and can't seem to find anything in regards to this unit. I stumbled into an interesting horse plaque with a dedication: In truer Kameradeschaft Sturm 1/M 151 I am am guessing that the 1/ M 151 is a SA unit? I have scoured the internet as I said and can't seem to find anything related to this unit anywhere. Can anyone help me out with finding this unit? Is it SA, NSKK, early SS?

The plaque itself seems to be made out of bronze and is a nice sized horse standing on all fours on a marble base. It appears to be really nice quality but that doesn't make it an original. I will try to get some better pics of it but I would love to hear some thoughts on that type of inscription and or possibly a unit?

I would appreciate any assistance. Matt

"1/M151" means 1st Sturm (company)/Motor Standarte (regiment) 151. The Motor SA was absorbed into the NSKK in 1934, when the NSKK became the Nazi Party official transport organization. It's definitely either SA or NSKK, but they were essentially the same in the early days at least.

Note: The SS also used the "M" designation on their collar tabs. The award would likely say it was SS IMO, and the SS was very small early on, so it's likely SA or NSKK. Any other writing? Any dates?

thank you for the prompt response! There is nothing else that I could see on it, but I'm hoping to get a better hands on this weekend and take some decent shots of it. The horse would make sense with it being a motorized unit, but any info on this specific unit? Matt

The SA had mounted cavalry units, so that would make more sense than motorized units. The horse could signify something else. The SA in Niedersachsen have a traditional insignia with 2 crossed horse-heads, but they were stylized and were on "paddles". I doubt they're related to this though. Send pics when you can.

M151 should be the Motor Standarte of the Motor SA, later NSKK.

I have a black collar tab of the Motor Standarte M151 in my collection. Need to see if I can find it in my mess to make a photo, if anyone is interested.

Motor SA

No - I wasn't very clear. He was associating the horse on plaque with Motor SA, and I was clarifying that a horse would more likely signify cavalry. The "M" designation is clearly Motor SA or NSKK.
