On researching German .22 Training rifles for a forth coming book, three of the rifles (of 1,500) have 'Langemarck' stamped or plate attached to stock-butt or other areas. Previous researcher's believe these rifles belonged to 'SS Sturmbrigade Langemarck.' I'm totally against this theory, I believe they are from various 'Langemarck' schools all over Germany. Is there anyone who might confirm or back me up so I can kill that theory? I know the Waffen-SS, if their theory was correct the rifles would have had a unit mark configuration, and 'SS' inserted somewhere. -MB
