SS Edelweiss patches and Suporter Pin

Hello Forum Members, I might have part of this in the wrong category.
But these pieces are in a large grouping I am considering buying.
The SS Supporter pin or F&M SS pin is maker marked Deschler and numbered 14497, 99% of the lot is good, I just suspect everything that is SS, because I know both of these items have been copied.
Any opinions would be helpfull.

SS Support FM pin

Ron, Your picture is good, Do you know what the letter at the top stands for. They have different letters above the number, but it looks like the fonts match.
