    While at a recent local auction I managed to pick this up amongst other things, I must admit i did not realise what the value was when I was bidding on it!

                    You are thinking of the MGC replica guns made in the 60s and 70s? I believe they made an example of the PL (Political Leader grip) PPK. But I don't recall them making a replica of the RZM contract PPK.

                        not really for my collection I only bought it because the guy bidding on it had run me up on a lot of items at the auction and I knew this was one of the bits he was wanting

                            A PPK in 6.35mm..........now that's a winner. Was the veteran/soldier a Political Leader? With a name you might be able to acquire some party information if he was. Otherwise, I wouldn't think he would have purchased a holster like that.

                              It was a US Vet bring back. It was so cheap I bought it sight unseen from a family member after the Vet passed away.
