A forum member asked me about a kepi he's thinking of buying. Unfortunately no pics yet. It appears to be a very early kepi - The chinstrap looks perfectly good, but the slider buckles are OVAL, instead of square, and appear to be CAST, just like a CROSSTRAP buckle. Anyone ever seen an SA chinstrap like this?
