after seeing a social welfare medal with swords pinned to the ribbon on an above thread ,i wondered whether this was a common practice ,i have a 25 year nsdap medal which has swords attached to the ribbon (upside down) this is how i acquired it , is this just someone in the past just sticking them on or could it be official? cheers guys
