      wedding stuff

my contribution since we are showing our candles. This one I think to be a wedding leuchter since it resembles the ing rune which is 2 life runes joined.

a crucifix was not Weitzel's cup of tea

And it´s number of candles is no coincidence, either.
That crucifix is no coincidence either-being so prominently displayed even above the scales (of justice- Perhaps a candleabra setting for a judge/attorney?)

I doubt Weitzel would have been too excited about it-as he was the premier SS over acheiver in the fight in usurping Christianity.

Scales are also the astrological symbol for Libra, harmony and balance. The Libra sign on this piece sits in a circle of 12, Libra being one of the 12 astrological signs.

              Gents,

Thank you for your positive comments - glad that you all like it which is not always the norm in regards to our beloved cultural goodies.

The scales are actually also a sign of the zodiac from the 24th of September to the 23th of October - and this birthday candleholder with it´s 14 candles has luckily more than enough dedications and hints that reveal it´s history in itself.

The dedication is: "Weihnachten 1942 in Norwegen".

This piece is evidence for the fact that creating a new religion within the SS was like making a cake:

One has the recipe within the book and due to his own taste changes it a little bit or finds out that one of the ingridients is missing at home and replaces it with a different one - and the best cakes are often enough those not being textbook.

                Wood and iron

More SS culture - a distinct Reichsnährstand plate.

Given as an official present from Landesbauernschaft Niedersachsen, the Reichsnährstand was organized and divided into Landesbauernschaften and Niedersachsen was one of them.

If the sword is also included in the Libra symbol then you probably right.

but the crucifix is in the exact shape as Christian types.
                              No mistaking that one.

But still...nothing ties this to SS. Nothing.
We all read Weihnachten 1942 in Norwegen...
Christians also called Christmas Weihnachten (as we all know already) and there was more than only SS occupying Norway.
Please feel free to show me where it is proven as tied to SS.
