DAF Large Emblem?

I've been trying to find out what this large(20cm across) single sided metal DAF emblem was for, I'd appreciate the help.

hi , i have the same swatika with the base ,( 10 years before ) is mounted on the black bakelite base
very hard to find with the base !

i have only a old polaroid , is not a perfect pic but its good to see this swatika mounted on the black bakelite . i remember, bottom on the base is closed by a cardboard , and the maker mark is present
