As I recall, in this photo, the General is one of those executed as a result of the 20 July assassination plot.

Perhaps someone remembers his name.

Friedrich Fromm

I think the General is Friedrich Fromm that appears in Erich's Time-Life image above, presenting the wreath at the Feldherrnhalle.

Here he is ... executed in March 1945.
