Very early group about the streetname.

That's right. A partymember who lives in a Judengasse is funny.
Hope this Coburg-group went to our member M.Zimmer. Even though it might have been a little expensive or even overprized for some (but if I count all pieces together it still seems o.k.) - if I would live in the city of the event and could get a group of a citizen of this town I would have taken my chance.
As to the party book: for my understandig the page with the picture is only damaged and not the picture missing. Hopefully the group will be shown here soon.
      Best, Thomas

The group is no with me, I was bidding, but no luck, congrats to the winner! I think €16000+ Fees= 20000,- is to much, I stopped bidding at €14000,- , the CB was repaired, the pin and the catch were replaced, I can not understand this Coburgmania, I knew the owner of this group, he died last year, his son decided to give all to Kube, not to me.

the partybooks first page cut off half, top section is missing. If someone wants something value is second, and where to find a group where all really belongs to one person even with its negative impacts. Difficult to set a price, for my view if offered from some dealers the price tag would be over 20k.

One Highlight in this collection! Before it went to Kube, there was sold many Highlights to a Museum and a few top ss items to a big collector.

I was in the Kube Hall and tried my luck. But I got out at 13. I was the opinion for a piece with exchanged needle and presifiable polish of the back it would be enough. But it probably made the certificate and the accessories the high price.

Small adjustment to the price, the profit was 18,000 + 25% fee makes 22,500 - is that realistic?

The attraction to this group is the completeness of the Coburg badge and document and gpb and document. The other bits and the groups past ownership, perfect believable provenance that this all belonged together to the same man. A lot of money but where will you find another group like this ?

yes, you are certainly right. In hindsight, I think I would also make a higher bid, I had no advance to the price of the certificate.

Just looked at the whole contribution to the Coburger badge here. Really a great, very interesting post !

The HJ leader on page 5 is of course Emil Klein, I think it was the last living owner of Coburger badges and blood orders.

This estate would be a dream, has anyone heard something, what happened to his things?

this he is, very very interesting

It is a very nice group, and makes a compelling story about the person. I wonder what else did the badge holder own before other things will split. Did Kube not get the entire collection from his family?

Karl Schunk's decorations made him a unique Old Fighter.

Emil Klein was an even rarer Altekämpfern, as he also won the Blood Order.

Such sets of artifacts make me want to sing: "If I were a rich man...!!"

The Coburg Badge itself is a rarity and to find a group with provenance is much more difficult.
