Oval Pin Plate's/Retainer on Party Pins

Hi: Thin oval pin plates with clipped ends (squared off) on party pins are not original 3rd reich production. Please help me verify this for a friend. Appreciate a few comments. Thank You , John

Correct - the fake ones look a bit like coffins. There are oval pinplates that are original, but not squared off or clipped at the ends.
