    Dj Leader's Kepi -opinions Wanted

    Hi Guys,
I wanted to get some feedback on this piece. I like it more than I don't. There are 3 things I have questions about, but have only seen Bob's posted. Can someone show me another example? To me, it looks like a wartime cap, but are there any caps that are similar to this? Here are the 3 questions/observations-

Kepi is in trikot material, not doe-skin or soft wool
    buckle is leather covered
RZM tag is re-sewn in? (I have seen it done like this before, but have always questioned it- BUT on this one, you can see where the sweatband was lying all these years)

    Thoughts and opinions welcome

    Gerard

      Gerard,

There are things I do like and things I don't like...

      Things I don't like :

      The model of the cap.
      The schadow of the eagle.
      The buckle.

      Things I do like :

      The RZM label.

As far I know the DJ leaders did wear normal HJ wintercaps with piping like these guys :

      Just my opinion.

      Kind Regards,

      Michael

        Gerard,

show us a perfect text book DJ leader kepi.

And it's thrue that many DJ/HJ menbers that becam DJ Leader used their black winter cap and "upgrade" them with the addition of a silver piping!

Gerard--it looks good to me, too. Bob C (who has since resigned from the forum) posted this example:

Thanks Gerald, Pascal, Chris and Michael. I am just real cautious, I have never owned one before and have only handled one, so not much to compare to.
