A Few Political Items from the MAX

Even though I don't collect medals, this NSDAP saleman's board was simply breathtaking. It had two variations I had never seen before--the 25 year award set-up as a neck order, and another set-up as a pinback version--anyone have any 411 on these?

These were prototypes of 'special grades' that were to be awarded for meritorious (rather than long) service.

They were superseded by the German Order, and so were never actually presented.

Even better, that's an NSKK-BRIGADEFÜHRER tunic. Any chance of it being named to anyone in particular?

                Best,

I own a similar set of tabs (for NSFK) as those pictured on the tunic above which show the same age/oxidation characteristics. According to John Casino, the NSFK regulations (and, apparently the NSKK) allowed the use of silver plated copper wire for highlights that, over years, was oxidized to the base wire affording gold like highlights.
