I'm wondering if it was common for an SA member to also be a RAD member. My Ure Gross Vater I know was an SA man. I have a picture of him in his SA uniform with other SA members and RAD members in front of a RAD sign. He had joined the SA in November 1932. My Ure Gross Mutter was becoming a Nun and my Ure Gross Vater was building a railroad right beside the Nun convent and that's how they met. They met in 1936 or 1937. So I'm curious if maybe he was in the RAD building the railroad and also in the SA at the same time or even if this would be possible. My Oma says he remained in the SA until the end of the War in 1945.
